Effective immediately production values have been CHANGED. Due to a noticeable tanking like position mages/spies were taking it has been decided to do something.

Cashing Strat: Markets now give 1.5x as much as before.
Barracks/Indy: You produce 1.5x as much as before
Farmer: Grain has been replaced to a value of $7

This should immediately boost all races and increase competition.

Effective Immediately as well:
ALL attacks will capture structures. The exact value of capture at this time is 50% retained.

Soon, buildings will have an efficiency rate. Captured structures will work at 1/20 of full value. Captured land will work at 1/20 of full output. Also, land will become more valueable as attacking will now be reduced to 1/4 of current power. Hold onto your land folks. Because attacking is less profitable. These changes are NOT to discourage attacking. But to increase the power of diplomacy. Neighbors won't go to war for land. Enemies will.

Just bear in mind that slowing down land flow when one person has all the land is going to push the imbalance even further the other way, regardless of defense.

Land Grabs for Hawks have been reduced and corrected.

Cashing Update:

Tents now hold around 10% greater capacity.

Slaves/Citizens now leave slower when tax rate is too high.

These changes are meant to bring cashing UP or near to the level of money production as a hawker or farmer.

Anyone else testing this should report initial values to the admin for comparison. I'm currently running 1:2 markets to camps. Doing a decent amount of cashing. Roughly 1 bil every 25 turns on 30,000 land on the admin account. Or 700 mil on 15k.

And that's assuming I'm doing it right. wink.gif I'm sure Nuke would know best.

I don't think that's the case. Shadow is sitting on 30k land. If Hawk and regular scout has been upgraded like Freen said, then land has become mostly untouchable at this point, and one person can scout up and then mage up a lot of it. I suppose everyone else can do the same, but that makes the game awfully boring. I thought it was "Frost and Flame", not "Frost and Lame". "War of Ages", not "Land of Ages".
