A Change

So I am going to try something new and lets see how it goes. I thought the whole poinr of the slow landflow was to encourage diplomacy and less attacks. Like you only go to war with another country for an actual reason or something and then you crush them like a bug. That doesn't seem to be the case, so i'm going to try to bring some diplomacy.

I will be making a clan in the next few days which will be all about being diplomatic.

My clan will not attack unless attacked, but will hit back twice as hard as we were hit.

Those who join will be encouraged to post their strat on the forums and see if we can make it better or others can learn from the ones posted.

We will have to scout our own land so my clan can test out how effective the increased scouting is.

Joining the clan means you must abide by the rules of the clan, any violation to the rules will mean the removal of your empire.

The name of the clan is still being decided, hopefully I can find a name that says diplomacy but doesn't sound lame, lol.

Sounds good Arty. HH may be willing to offer you an alliance.

Hit limits might be an issue there. Also, you might want to consider a sliding scale, 2-3 hits are 1 to 1, 4-6 hits are double, anything above, and you retal to hit limit. Otherwise you may well start a war.

Well made the clan. Couldn't think of a good name so settled on The Diplomatic Alliance. Anyone who wants to join can message me for the pass if you think you can deal with only attacking if attacked.

And Volky, that sounds ok, might do that or something close to it. For land attacks that might be ok, not sure if will keep that for resource attacks.

Due to trying to be diplomatic. Stds and murders will not be used unless you are hit often and hard by the same empire.

Land attacks:
2-3 hits are 1 to 1.
4-6 hits are double.
7-21 are hit to limit.
If the empire continues to hit you over 10 times, hit to limit and allowed to use standard attacks/murders.

I made an error when making my clan... It should be DA not CA for the clan tag. If any Admin can fix this, it would be much appreciated.

So apparently I make my clan and actually get attacked more... *sighs*

Whoever Loose Cannon is will be std attacked for a very long time. And Volky is asking for it.
