Farms is better. New people coming to the game find it easier that way to know what makes the food.

Barracks and Foragers together can be very good. Make enough food to sell for cash, and you're laughing. You can always sell troops when you are in a bind as well.

You guys have any standard of hit limits here?

I usually go by a 4 or 5 hit limit... that is what I have used so far.

Don't know if that is good or bad, only used 2 sets of turns or something out of protection, just want to make sure this kind of thing won't get me killed.
