Soooo annoying when someone reverts your changes by accident. There has to be a way to fix that. I know there's a warning but if the other person doesn't heed it they ruin your work.

EDIT: note, "their" is not a genderless single possesive pronoun :P

All throughout the past year I promised myself I would resolve not to procrastinate after New Years. Then I realized the irony of putting off an end to procrastination.

It occurs to me how silly my inquiry was. Nohc would obviously not be there to follow-up on this. Does anyone know his account #?

Heh. The taoist/defeatist IT strategy.

Yes, that was silly, wasn't it? I probably meant with their username.
If they have the db compromised and access to the md5 hash, then surely they have access to the username?

Or did you mean a salt derived from the username (some weird way of splitting it up or what not)?

This the issue I see ...

If someone compromises the DB and tries to crack the passwords... then they already have the dbpass (well, probably), so it's not as effective is it? Unless the idea is to prevent pre-generated md5s from being used.

Check to see if it's frozen in 12 hours. Might have been implemented to lock you out when it freezes you. Will have to look into it tomorrow. Also a warning: I've been told it's still very buggy. PM me / another admin before you try logging in and exiting vacation mode so we can copy your account ...

Hawk gain depends on the number of hawks per hut. It's possible that you had such a large amount of hawks compared to your huts that the amount of new huts you built did not lower your ratio enough to cause new hawks to be made.

If you're pretty sure that's not it, could you provide your account ...

Nice pun.

Are we looking at theme changes that require or could use modifications to the engine? I don't mean the core but just round set-up modes. For example, there's a lot more interesting stuff you can do with the concepts of clans and the "emperor" outside of the RWL theme, which I think we've started ...

And, on that note, in another 40 years or so, The Beatles should become public domain -- am I right on that one? In other words, maybe my children will be listening to free oldies...

Ok. Now if you try to leave protection and the game detects a previous account with your ip or email it checks to see when that account was last logged into and if it is under 24 hours you can't leave protection.
