I was hoping we could actually chat about this a bit and work out exactly how things are going to come out. I'm actually not sure if you wanted to go for the whole thing right away, or try to implement a few things right away, and the rest later on.

Either way, I'd say we definately need a test ...

I'm already there.

Anyhow, Beatles - you want to catch me on AIM/Gtalk some time and we can start talking through this, or do you just want to start coding?

It sounds like Beatles has the time/enthusiasm to code the whole sucker up. I'm willing to do most of the non-coding work, so hopefully we can make it happen. When it's done, you'll try to get RWLers to give it a try, yes?

Shadow,

We're going way beyond tweaking with promi, if these suggestions get adopted. If you have input on this whole scheme, I'd like to hear it, but the difficulty of locks is a subsidiary area - with this, a "lock" as we know it won't even exist.

No, it's just that what you've been doing is much less impressive when you have grumm, because grumm makes farming more or less (and more more than less) OP.

That said, I know also have grumm, so we'll see how it goes.

Lol. If you'd stop net hiding, it could be murders, instead. :P

Only problem with that is what happens when you lose troops/BM sell troops. Especially with the still existing BM, it will happen rather frequently. So does your number of marketed troops automatically adjust downward? What about upward? If not, what happens when somebody wants to buy 5 mil ...

Actually, not quite. Net could be stored and protected, but it didn't count until it was vulnerable. I could have all the net in the world on the market and still lose a set, if I didn't pull it.

I've responded to your idea in that thread.

I'm personally against untouchable net. It makes murders and such kind of useless against emps.

Also, Beatles, how is this any better than people pulling on the last day of the round? At least there the net was murderable, and they had to deal with the penalty. Here, it's completely safe, with no ...

They actually are on the PubMarket. So, no bug.

But, I'm going to come out and say that I think that's abusable/op. Sure, he has to pay for them, but when he's emping, he's probably not running turns much anyhow. It basically makes it so the only way to beat an emp is actually out net him, rather ...

Hmm, just realized this could be hidden NW. If so, though, that really messes with emp. . .

Ok, murders are supposed to kill 3% of troops unsheilded or 1% shielded. However, I try murdering Arty, who's in first on WOA. His starting NW is $485,421,417. 1% of that would be $4,854,214.17, roughly $4.85 mil. After 3 murders, (a combined total that should be at least $10 mil) his NW is $484 ...
