This might just be a display error but
0.3 hours ago PWD (#4) tried to attack you with Hawks! You managed to destroy
0 Hawks
Shouldn't we both take losses from a failed hawk battle?

No. This is when his ratio isn't good enough for a successful attack, and the mission fails, as opposed to is repelled.

Yes, but it's possible to have the mission suceed, but still have your hawks repelled. It's happened to me several times. Are you saying that if that happens, that's when we both lose hawks, and this is just showing that he failed the mission compleatly?
