Is the game guide still under construction?
I see an edit this page link…

I found several discrepancies in the verbage and some of the examples are incorrect!
A couple places through out the game also have incorrect verbage

Introduction page it describes the mole race as a suggestion,

Simply select Mole. The Mole race is not stellar for an aggressive player

The race page shows hawks, runes, and orchards.
References all through out the guide are still showing the animals from the game of old, nearly every section of the guide has some errors.

If the team doesn’t have the kind of time it takes (LIFE GETTING IN THE WAY) to fix the guide.
I could lend a hand in adjusting the verbage to be accurate in the guide.
I hold no ill will toward any one with regards to the site itself. I do not have interest in modifying the code in any way.
I do hold ill will toward warbands in the game though hehe

Everyone should be able to edit the game guide and correct these errors so try editing it if it lets you...

Only admins can. Sorry, we don't really need help. I'm planning to update the entire thing over the summer.

these errors have been there for a while now, I have checked on the progress every now and then it seems once the races and troops n stuff got changed interest in the Wiki was downgraded to defcon 7...*laughs*

I would be interested in helping even though it’s supposedly admin only.
You can check my work before you addend the Wiki.

If not......Meh! what so what.
Doesn’t matter to me that it looks stupid and incomplete, allot more interest in war and less in the actual game.

I have loads of time to spend doing you.... 'Err uh' Doing Nothing. hehe

Um. Yeah, I thought it saying 'you are not authorized' was enough of an explanation... that's not a bug.
The guide when it was first built was open to everyone. Then once most everything was there, it was locked. We don't have time to constantly patrol it, and odds are good some turd would slip something in somewhere and confuse someone.

Its been a while, but most of the information is still true enough. Some troop names here and there

btw, I like the error message I put on RWL's guide (which is built from FAF's guide )

Couldn't you give someone access just to alter basic information, like goods and troop names? It would take like 15 minutes.

I've done it twice. The host keeps buggering it up every now and then and reverting the changes. My edits are most likely stored in the DB. I'll have to dig around for them. As for what you suggested Death, no. Not really.

Nope. That's part of the appeal of this guide, its all stored in text files

Next time you update it, ask Beatles or another with file access to zip the guide folder and store it as a backup...
