Doesn't look different to me; what'd you change?

Probably changed something to do with transparency (sp?)

Yeah...Ugh I'm depressed still doesn't work... and the old version's joining place looks nicer... could one of you work on finding the problem? I'm stumped.

Ok, I finally figured out what the problem was... It had nothing to do with the transparency both rather me leaving light gray spots around the chain. I have now manually removed them and it should look quite a bit better in contrast to the black:

Done. Much better!
I still see some white pixels, and a few joints are clunky, plus it's still a bit regular (try a pattern sort of like, ignoring the dots:

and with the bottom bit different than the top bit, always confusing for the eye). But all in all a great job!
