Well I'm in my living room and I hear someone IM me so I go to check it out and it's a friend from Valhall. We kinda chit-chat for a bit and he tells me he's thinking about quitting strat (the server these quotes have been from) but before he goes he's gonna test the new kill code there. (They had recently made kills take more turns) So then he tells me it's the Crack Whore he's trying it out with. Obviously he hadn't gotten the memo that I was Crack Whore but I'm not complaining.

Naturally I cruise on over to Valhall to check on his progress and I log in to see I have 123 land left. (down from 20k earlier today) Now part of the new kill code is the last 100 acres are taken 1 acre per attack. That means they need about 100 more attacks to kill me, plus my friends out of turns so I'm not to worried even though there's 4-5 different empires online that I have online hit before. I go to check my "fanmail" and click on scores again to see if anyone's been trying to finish me off and I have 45 land.

So I'm thinking darn that was quick, so I click on my main menu to see how many there are and I have 20 something land left. So I hurry up and click on the Black Market as fast as I can (13 acres left now ) and buy the max free land off the Black Market. (There you can buy free land but it's pretty pricey and there's not much available, it's basically for kill run prevention for the turn locked folks)

So I have 1k land and a bit of a reprieve and I check my news to see how many empires are hitting me (must be a lot because I'm losing at list 6-7 acres per second) and I see that it was only one empire hitting and their kill code is bugged.

So now I'm typing this messages with rather frequent trips to Valhall to refresh the scores to make sure nobody's trying to finish the job. Anyway you said you were surprised nobody had killed me yet, well now you can't say it's due to lack of effort

And in case anyone wants to hear some shocking news I now have a commanding lead in the race for the most defenses I have 585 defenses the second highest is 299. Of those probably at least 50 were from my attacks too. (Keep in mind this is a slower turn rate than BFR, only 60% as many turns as BFR)

Offenses I'm still in first too, 492 to 412 with my friend that tried to kill me being the second place, close to half of those were against me. Oh, and I onlined another 4 people today brning my 3 day total to 14. I wonder why everyone hates me?

Anyway I'll leave you guys with another quote, this ones from the guy who is now #2 in defenses.

Just thinking about casting FB's makes my toes curl with sheer ecstasy. My lip quivers with excitement, I get chills up and down my spine, it's almost like having *intercourse* except in this case I'm doing it to another real-live person.

Whew man, I need to stop writing about it and take a few deep breaths.
