Brazil and England lead the world in fair play since '78, as the only two sides to have won the award more than once:

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

I don't trust any polls or surveys. You can get any answer you want just by asking the right questions. It's all BS. Now I'm sure that it's true that not alot of people really cared a whole bunch about the World Cup, but I'm sure more than 6% of Americans followed it pretty closely, at least whilst America still had a chance.

Since some of you arn't really familiar with American football I'd like to point out a few things about one of my favorite football players of all time, Ronnie Lott. He is a member of the Hall of Fame for the NFL (professional football), NCAA (organization in charge of all college sports in America), and USC. (College he went to) He is one of a select few NFL players to be named All-Pro in 3 positions, (one for each position in the backfield) selected to the NFL's 75th anniversary team, is tied for second place for winning 5 Super Bowls, went to 10 Pro Bowls, team captain, defensive leader, and widely considered the most dominate safety to ever play the game. Usually regarded in the top 3 defensive players of all time.
Lott's pinky finger got sliced up pretty bad in a game early in his career, and team doctors recommended a surgery which would have kept him out of the next game. Now Lott's a pretty dedicated individual and the next game was the beginning of the playoffs, long story short he had doctors amputate his finger so he wouldn't miss a game. The next year he got a hairline fracture in his shin, and instead of writhing around in pain for an hour hoping for a foul, or getting a stretcher ride to the sidelines, or even walking off he decided to keep right on playing. Yes that's right, the guy played with a broken freaking leg. Several years later he severely strained both knees, and again eschewing the drama-queen antics of other sports he nutted it up and kept right on playing.
I actually probably should dig up a video clip of him in action since he's one of the hardest hitters in the history of the NFL. But it's late and I'm lazy so you'll have to do without.

I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.
how true! Now, Bret Favre cannot compare to the steel balls of that guy, but he did play almost a whole season with a broke thumb on his throwing hand. Rugby is a tough game as well, but i still think a 6ft 6, 380 pound monster from the NFL can break any other player of any other sport out there. and he is just one of the small ones...
