I personally think it should be left alone its already a part of the game. Why change it now?

Its not like it has a major effect on the game, but if its messed with it could have a major effect on strats.

If it doesn't have a major effect, changing it can't have one. I mean unless something ridiculous is done.

Well i guess my question is by doing it you think you will improve the game? If not then there is no point in changing something that will not improve the game.

The reserve does have a huge impact on the game - my locking strat a few sets ago depended on it (and overpowered mage, but we won't go there)

No, I think the suggestion that I made would do nothing more than make playing at Frost and Flame Promisance require a little more skill. I had the Reserve completely loaded and still did not notice any additional upkeep, the thing is lame.

Notice I didn't argue against you, I just argued against Alazar's assertion that it didn't do much.

rawr - me again. And I agree that the reserve should go. Any form of net storing = bad.

The whole point of reserves is not so much a "net store" as it is a military aspect - essentially, a fall back, troops you can call up if you get smashed around badly or have urgent need of extra military power. Basically the same as an actual nation's military reservists/national guard troops. Like such, they cost less upkeep cash than does a standing army.

Right, the point was that you essentially have a way to rebuild. Since land grabbing isn't too hard, you can recovery fairly fast. Plus, the auto-pull which isn't installed yet, is supposed to make killing harder.

But it is not being used to rebuild, it is being used as a way to store net and dodge upkeep.

Well if its that big an issue make it so that troops can only be pulled from it if you have below a certian amount of land or networth
