Volkov does have a point, in that Promisance is generally balanced around the idea of "growth requires attacks". Messing with that too much sort of removes the impetus for aggression, which would seem to result in a more passive (some might say "stagnant") game.

Still, is a change of 150% actually enough to shift the "land gain advantage" in favour of scout? I imagine scouting would still give less land (unless attacks have been scaled down even further than I realised), but the real issue is that it comes without any risk at all. Scouting for marginally less land than what would be gained through attacking would seem the wiser prospect, as I can't really see anyone wanting to expend the troops/risk the retaliation that a "war" would entail.

Then again, I haven't played in years, so I'm in no position to have an opinion on this matter. I just add in the occasional feature/fix the occasional bug when asked. :P I'd like to see a bit of a debate on this matter amongst the active players, but I have no right to be involved.

I've been averaging 150 land per attack, and 2-3k land per run. Now, I don't attack as much as some, but even the most persistent attacker is not going to get much more than 5k. That still outdoes scout at this land amount, but not by a whole heck of a lot, and definitely not mage scout, particularly with the 150% boost.

Well I agree. If you want to discuss this then make a new topic.

But all in all. We simply haven't done enough in terms of making the game how it was/has been outlined. If the hitlimit was raised considerably or even removed, it would help with land flow. But regardless you can still fight for your land.

Since its hard to get EITHER WAY. People should focus on defending and then attacking when they have the means. You shouldn't be going from 50th to 3rd overnight because you attacked the junk out of the 2nd place guy because he had no mice. That's just unrealistic and a major problem I have with Promi. Maybe that's that intended, big changes on a very small scale. But its pretty illogical otherwise.

Actually I think that is the intention, for major changes to happen rather quickly.
