It's Official...

This slower game requires strategic and diplomatic skills as well. It has been discontinued.

Yes, it's a big guessing game on my part. I could have more troops if I wanted, that's for sure.

Not really. The more you keep, the shorter your reign on your current stored resources.
Back. I think.

Not sure what you mean. Here's what I think:

The more troops I put on the market, the more troops I lose when I take them off. The less troops I have when I use turns, the less resources I use. The longer my resources last, the more land I get as well. The resources lost are much more significant then the troops lost in market. Otherwise I would simply buy troops until I ran out of cash.

So here's what I do:

First I mass resources and then buy a lot of troops, keeping my money safe and trying to increase it slightly in the stock market. When I think I have enough (whatever enough is), I buy and keep as little troops as I need to prevent anyone from breaking me. This means that I don't have to put as many troops on the market. When I want to attack, I put all but one type of troop on the market. Then I attack people with that troop, build huts, gain loyalty and loot/feast some, and finally buy troops or recall troops from the market (or both). Once I don't have enough resources for a run, I recall all of my troops and buy what I can.

I'm hoping that I can get enough land to still make a self-generated profit while still keeping enough troops to remain unbroken. Otherwise I won't be able to gain net unless I recieve aid.

Squeaky said this...

I'm officially retiring from Warbands. The game got really messed up and I haven't been able to log in for the last few days, so now I'm so low on the scores and can't get back up. I'm deleting my warband. So bye!

Could have asked for help...

On another note, #5 has broken me several times, but my net and land are very high.

You were a polite player; something we don't have many of.
