Heh, I remember installing the Slackware-based Vector Linux and having weird hardware problems. XServer as well, I think. :D

So ironic... :P

Well /bin/sh is a symlink to /bin/bash. So yes it gives you bash, but if you look at man bash, if you invoke it as 'sh', it doesn't read your .bashrc.

about trying to install the nvidia drivers in zastYaST said Undefined don't actually use.
