Ack...We will have to pick this up in the new topic. I need to find my Advanced Guide Book. I really forgot a lot of stuff. O_o...

I was thinking the Role Playing area, seeing how its almost turned into one. Agreed?

*laughs*. You are way behind, Wizards is just about to release D&D 4.0. Right now we are on 3.5. And the PHB 2 just came out. *Is playing D&D on a weekly basis*

Role-play area is fine with me.

ROFL. Nice. Yeah, things have changed a bit in the intervening 4 years. Though I think 3.0 was just coming out in '02

Yeah...I found a stat sheet that has 2.0 written on it. Might have to be refreshed, alot. I'm assuming that most of the rules are the same? Or have they really changed alot?

Well it changed quite a bit from 3.0 to 3.5, so much so that you cannot use a 3.0 book to make a 3.5 character, so I would suspect that 2.0 is even more different.

Yeah...One of the books that I have is for the 2.0 ver. It looks a lot different than what Wizards has posted on there site. But it looks like it plays the same. XD Ancient D&D is awesome.

Oh the basic system is the same, but there alot of changes to various parts, especially spells.

Well..that is a bumber. I'll have to really read up on them then. I'm in the progress of organizing one on this side over here. Got about 4 people...that with a DM though...so we need more.

*laughs*. Yeah, they weakened one spell horribly from 3.0 to 3.5, I hate to think what they did from 2.0 to 3.5. If you look up "3.5 SRD" on Google you can get an open source rulebook for 3.5. Depends on which game you are talking about. I'm in 2, running one, playing in the other. 6th level in the one, 20th in the other. (I, as the DM, am playing an NPC because the game needed one more character to function well.)

Nice..I have yet to be a DM in a game. I should try it out sometime. The one person who usually does it seems to enjoy it alot, so I dunno if he will let me.
