So that's what FAF is to you? A bunch of trolling dickheads? *Rolls Eyes* If someone is actually trolling you, I don't care what you say to him. When you came to FAF and made your first comments, I think the only person who said anything that may have even remotely qualified as trolling was Arthus. And you proceeded to act like a total (Profanity is a sign of Maturity). It's not just the title of the thread, it's the repeated comments about our code sucking, the repeated suggestions to "think it over a bit more", both about new ideas and old code. Basically the total lack of respect to anyone that you have shown from day one. And I'm the immature one?

We were going to make improvements, and try to change up the game, as well as fixing a few things. That does not mean we thought it sucked, it's an effort to make a unique and more fun game. Surprising as this may be to you Death, your opinion on a game's worth is not the final word.

Two things:

1. I'd really like an end to this thread. I'm not gonna lock it, since that's not my way. But, I am going to ask all parties involved to drop this argument. I have spoken with at least one party involved and they have been amicable towards that proposition. I hope that everyone else will feel the same way and we can get on with our lives.

Death, you're free to PM me suggestions if you feel you're not getting the response that you wish. I will certainly forward them on anonymously to the open forum.

If anyone attempts to continue this argument, I request that the other parties involved simply ignore that person or persons. I'd really appreciate that.

Please note that this is not written as a "senior" administrator, but as a community member. There are absolutely no "threats" attached, only simple requests appealing to the better natures of our forumgoers. You can choose to ignore me with no official consequences, nor, indeed, any consequences that involve usage of staff powers. I just think we're all beyond that.


2. Volkov will not be removed from the staff. That did not enter consideration at any point. The staff members have not withdrawn their confidence from him. In fact, no staff members have spoken about losing confidence in his abilities to perform his duties as administrator. Additionally, our "senior" staff has no issues with him continuing in his position. I personally maintain my confidence in him.

One of our prime directives is that staff members are only human. We are not about to strip someone of the responsibility that we have given them simply because he is human. He has not abused any administrative powers at any point in time. He is a valuable member of our staff and has contributed greatly to the development of FAF. Acting as a human, with emotions and feelings, in a capacity not at all related to his staff duties is not going to cause us to remove an important member of our team. He never once respresented himself as an administrator, or of his opinions being those of the staff.

That is our official position. If anyone wishes to raise any concerns about this policy, they are free to do so via PM. Your concerns will be forwarded to the staff team and will be made known to the community anonymously. However, one cannot reasonably expect us to overturn one of our prime directives lightly.

Do you seriously think I was expecting someone to fire him? If I was that concerned, I would contact someone in private, I really could not care less, that is FAFs problem (or not).

If you guys like well thought out, considerate conversation that bad, fine, I give. But this was fun, now I have to go... I dunno... flip coins.
