Ok, guys...Help me out here. I understand the Land dropping (at least partly ;) ). It wont fit into my strategies in this set, but I will keep it in my ammunition bag. But what exactly do you mean when you refer to "mage suicide." Pardon the ignorance of the inexperienced  .
This transaction never occurred...trust me.

Mage suicide means repeatedly attacking with mages without taking land. This kills off the defenders leaders and makes it easier for another mage to get murders though his defenses.

That was me again, forgot to sign in.

And while on the subject, the land dropping strat described here is completely and utterly backwards and counterproductive. If you think you understand this one, erase it from your mind. Land dropping has a place in the game, but this is not it.

I didn't read all of this but I, Antiguan Racer, made over 100 bil last time I ran without gathering land. Really it doesn't work like you think. There is no reason to drop net to get land when you already have a huge lead.

Off topic
Topaz says when you guys get me all flustered my vocabulary goes out the window.
Well happy day, I am pissed so live with the abuse of the human language.

You guys have orchestrated me into a total rant! With belittlement, spam, and rhetoric what children are best for!

Completely off topic
OK….some one asked how old I was, lets leave the Tearoom, take a walk with me into the Fray!
I am 46 years of the elf, I have played MUD’s and MMORG’s
longer than most of you have been able to urinate standing up.
I was first introduced to online gaming in the spring of 1983
when the UCLA using an experimental packet-switching system (EPSS)
linking Essex University UK to ArpaNet in the USA. Back then we could only play at night.
When the vaxlab / college was closed, we paid the janitors to let us inside the lab late at night to play,
green screens with just text no fancy task bars, no Wiki guide, you had to shout for help.
Lots of help; until a wiz chucked you out into the world or the fray as we call it.
They thought we where just geeking around with the useless computers, a college students toy! No real harm eh? little did they know.

My friends Ray Schutti, Ted Evens, John Saxton, and I was addicted to the action and coding with macro -10
Ham Radio operators around the world still use packet to this day, to bad they dont play prom instead of chess over the radios *laughs*
I am not new to the promisance world, over the last 10 years since purgette release his version I have watched PROM grow huge then steadily smaller and smaller,
I remember games that had hundreds of users, yeah a bunch was proly multi's but the activity was fabulous,
I use to have a multi round on our server just for the action of it!
Olden day servers occupying a whole room running ballzout.
You have all forgotten what it is to be a noob, you have lost focus of why you’re a promi.

I didn't read all of this
All through the forums you guys are constantly saying
"Oh I didn’t read all of this"
if your not going to read all of a post, then don't bother to reply, your not fully informed and making conjectures about partial information
It is very apparent there is a bad habit of not reading all of a post, through out a major percentage of the forums.

Back on topic

Again this would not be for the top ten, it’s a strat to bring them down!
How hard is that to understand, every one wants to apply it to the top ten.
It is completely unfathomable that they would need such a drastic avenue.
I have read and re-read your topics, like I said in another thread
I have nothing better to do than read this forum and pound My Warband against your Warband

this prom still has hundreds of users (thousands of turns)

Please. Drop all the land. If you do I will sit on top of WOA for the next year to prove you wrong. Even players like Arthus would have a hard time taking me down if they only have a few thousand land to work with. If I unclanned it simply wouldn't be possible with you dropping all the land.

It's a damn good thing that there are safeguards in place to stop you doing just that. All this topic has done is paint a big target on your forehead, and your strat actually has the opposite effect to what you want. When you realize this, stop talking about it and start scouting up some land to make up for what you dropped.

WoA is being owned. It's not broken. Arthus already broke me once, so it is obviously possible. I am clanned for crying out loud, you could troop suicide me if you had enough time on your hands...

The only thing that needs fixing is that mage raise tax is overpowered. When it gets nerfed, WoA will no longer be "broken" as you put it, meaning that locking the land will not be possible as a solo mage.

Drop land works the way it was programmed to do. It isn't broken just because it doesn't fit neatly into your misguided strategy.

A clan has 3 empires that run on 100k land every day why would you want to drop your land so you run on 10k instead of on 100k?
This strategy ‘is not’ the one to use in a clan, unless you’re a mage clan; then dropping safe amounts would be beneficial. EG matching mage count to tower counts ect.

But a ‘solo clan’ (yeah a clan with no tag) or ‘personal ally’ that should side along with ‘personal war’, this would benefit those war bands moreover; then a run o the mill clan.
Clans like Sci-Ops and WoA, we all know clans like these are always under attack, Then land is what they need to keep from getting killed, call it a buffer, which gives one more time to catch warbands attacking.
Shadow sat on some 45 acres for nearly a day in the annual Valhall / CC, before some one killed him. Only because he had more land then the clan could take in their kill run, and one member didn’t log on in time to finish him off!

So NO it isn’t a benefit to those users, but is definitely one for the solo user.
I understand that. My point was made from the perspective of an empire trying to take down Sci Ops. You could gather land and run with 100k or you could drop it all and try to catch up while you're running on 10k by yourself and they are each running on 100k.

Hell I'll even make you a bet, I get a clan with 2 other people that each has 100k land, you play by yourself and you run on 10k land. I bet $1,000 that you can't crack any of us in a week with that kind of disadvantage.

You're entire logic has a HUGE flaw in it, Sci Ops land stays the same regardless of what you do. You're basing youre entire strat on the assumption that lowering the land amongst the general playerbase will affect how much Sci Ops makes in a run, completely ignoring the fact that they arn't gaining or losing land so their land will be the same regardless of what you do to everyone else.

If you're trying to starve John Doe 1 to death by forcing John Doe 2 to eat less and less every day you're probably only gonna hurt John Doe 2.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.

The reason I didn't read all of it is because there are two full pages of mostly irrelevant conversation. Your rants don't help you, your actions, scores, and networth does.
I really like this quote:
If you're trying to starve John Doe 1 to death by forcing John Doe 2 to eat less and less every day you're probably only gonna hurt John Doe 2.
I highly doubt this will work how you think. I am positive that Shadow did not get broken because you dropped 80k land. There is no proof either way but the chances are against you.
