The problem is not just killing, it's over attacking. Any server where you one person can hit another 21 + times and not even have their actions questioned is getting too vicious. If it happened once and a while, say, when some guy had 70k and most others had barly 20k, it wouldn't be a problem, but it's regular. And people just hit too hard, over retaling for the littlest things, or smashing a person for the heck of it.

Well, doing that would allow people to more easilly hog land. However, only allowing, say, 12 attacks by warband A on warband B, while still allowing C to attack B 9 times ( filling up his max) would be a good thing. In addition to stopping over attacking, this would increase land distrobution, and let the weaker folks get a bigger share of of things (since some guy with a ton of troops can't hog it all). This is probably why it has already been proposed.

k... I'm just saying we shouldn't hurt bfr to be any less competitive, some people like it the way it is, and I understand people want to make it a bit less vicious, so any suggestions we want put in shouldn't harm the competition too much... but make the game less violent, so I just wanted to get that straight (if it isn't already on your minds...) some want to make vast changes in the game, but just don't maul and ruin it to bits! (aka, don't ruin it for everyone) Good luck with your suggestions!

I'm still playing Reg, actually. If there were only more people it'd be awesome. The only proms I play now are COG, BFR, and Reg.The Beatles (Hungary) wrote: I wish you guys had started playing RWL Regular. You got one turn per ten minutes. And you could play well there, too.
I think I'd be fun to play 5 or so slow games with more planning and politics instead of a coulple of fast games where you attack everyone. But they're both fun in their own way.
Edit: Yes, n00bies are just as important as anyone else. The more new players we keep, the larger the player base will be. We will always have a few diehards that will keep playing no matter what, but we need to be bringing in more members than we lose.

All I think needs to be done is to make the individual "declare war" feature much less powerful. It's effects shouldn't appily once the target has dropped into the bottom 25% (or so) of ranks or land, and I think that declare war needs a loooooong lag time (6-8 hours) before it's effects do take place (as to avoid people just delcareing war for one land grab, than switching targets).

Declare War should have an on/off switch in the config file. It could be quite useful for some variants - for example, The Challenge.
