Yeah well, the Middle East never experienced the 60's like we did in America, so who can blame them?

That is why the call it BC Bud....... Eh?

Just because Budweiser sucks doesn't mean you have to say it's not actually beer, that's just rude. Besides, the beer industry has come back here in America, just look at Sam Adams. That's a good beer right there.

And I never said anything about America being the most peaceful, I just said that the Middle East never had flower children, except tourists.

Sorry, yes, I was "sassing" back. I know what BC bud is, I deliberately misinterpreted.

Yeah, we need that sarcasm smiley thing. This is getting out of hand... We all like subtle humour, but it really is hard to translate into text.

*Nod* Sarcasm smiley would be a big help. Maybe a smiley giving you the finger? ROFL.

It is way too hard, and it's even worse for puns.

Sam Adams isn't the greatest. The best American beer is the Widmer Brothers hefeweizen. Personally I think all hefeweizen's need to be draught, although I've since heard that if one pours it out of a bottle correctly it can still be flavorful bottled. Eventually I'm going to buy a case and practice my pouring techniques.

Budweiser is "lager" right, as it's served cold? We didn't drink much beer in Hungary, most people drink stronger stuff like cognacs, but IIRC beer was served warm.

Yes, Bud is a pilsner which is a type of lager. The whole warm beer thing sounds so weird, it's amazing how it can be all the rage in Germany and here we never have a place that would consider serving it warm.

Not just Germany, but also the UK and Hungary -- and that's only the countries for which I know. I also have a Canadian friend who likes beer warm, but then again he's been all over the Commonwealth. :)

Well warm beers are ales aren't they? I think those are supposed to be served warm. I pretty sure that ales are the most popular drink in England and the UK, and that's why they serve their beer warm.
