I got this, let's add loans to the CT! So like, the entire clan can take out a loan, then put that cash on one empire, then use the CT to give all the cash and food in the clan to one empire, then put whatever troops on the CM for minimum price, then have one dude buy it and get the cash back and repeat, then boot him.

Who's to say they will? You're assuming that your going to just have idiots who empty the cT every run. The simple fact is, teach people in your clan how to run with the cT. If they don't get it, block them from using it. The top guy shouldn't be making so much money/food that he needs to store 90% of it into the cT anyway. Farming I don't make much more than around 20-30bil in a run. But even then, 5-10 of thats upkeep, and most of that replenishes my ranks at the end of my run. Only a few bil food or cash makes it into the cT, because my bank gets a hunk to start my next run.

It sounds like you are working yourself into a frenzy with every post you make, and it generally gets less and less coherent as it gets longer. Will you relax?

Freen: saying "teach your clan members not to abuse the CT" doesn't make any sense. If that worked, why would we even be having this discussion? Something needs to be done, but it should be something that limits all the empires equally, not just one.

Good suggestions have been made: 6 hours for goods to get to CT gets rid of clan runs to set up emps using the CT. Putting a cap on how much can be withdrawn also works, but it should be equal for all clan members regardless of net.

I do agree with test in that we should focus on one thing at a time and get it done. I think the obviously broken features (mage and sack) should be priority before we start fine-tuning the CT.

all i can say is this whatever changes r made i shall adapt and overcome i did b4 or i'm just lucky that i dont use a run of the mill strat like most that its possible any changes wont make any difference to me

Because your way forces one type of clan play while limiting another equally viable one based on the preference of a few people.

What exactly are you arguing then? That having the people at the bottom eating money is bad? In all honesty, the cT isn't meant to be a 2nd bank for any empire. Its a collective pool, therefore everyones going to use it. The person whos very high up won't need it as much.

The thing your forgetting is that the limit only effects a person when they can't be aided any further by a clans member. Thats important to remember. So for 90% of the game, this should really be a non-issue. Even on WoA, same. You shouldn't have that huge a net discontinuity at the end of a set.

A limit imposed on players when they are more than 3x the net of the next highest clan member makes good sense. No argument from me there. I just don't like the idea of the top guy being limited just for being on top by a small margin, which was what I thought you were proposing.
