Newbie Friendliness

Oldbies will most likely always own the game. I can't and won't dispute that, no matter how much I'd appreciate doing otherwise. However, that's not to say new players can't flourish here, with a few minor improvements. And, chances are, they'll make our time here a bit easier. (I know I could use a few more land sources. *laughs*) Humor aside, though, every site needs a steady flow of new people. They replace those leaving, and help expand the site. We've got great players here. Why don't we train so many more?

Bleh. Enough with the speech. I'm not a good motivational and/or persuasive speaker after a certain point. My point... well, go figure.

We need three things.

1. Get new players.
2. Get aforementioned players to stay.
3. Get them active in the game and forums. Make them better players.

Well, I was planning to tell all my ideas, but they got lost. Still, this is important.

Let's start by getting those in protection to play actively. We don't want them to die of inactivity. If you see a new account, message the person and invite them to the forums.

By all standards, you are "experienced". I just can't quite figure out which classification you fit in.

Just call me a Legend (taken from Holby). Yes! On topic. I think that both servers need more people, so newbies are a must. Even newbies could have a good rank with so little players. XD

Anyone in the top ten, please message those you see just entering the game or just leaving protection. Ask them to come to the forums and to keep on going with the game. People tend to respect the top ten.

Same here. I know; I'm low ranked. Remember, though, I just started here. I've done quite a bit at RWL. (And, yes, knocked Urran around a bit for killing off CORIM... Sorry, Urran.) I can be MSN-ed at riverpaw@redwall.net and AIM-ed at MPANabc . I can advise the really new, and help with strategy. I'm not great, but I've been around a bit.

If you find either Urran or Nohc, also IM them. They're great at advising, but please, don't be as bloodthirsty as they sometimes are.

Another way to be friendly is to invite people into clans. Your clan get more people, and they feel welcomed!

I've done my share of knocking around the whole CORIM clan as well!

3. I am sort of active. A better player? oO Well, I know what the buttons do. Which is better than this summer.
