Reguardless of how long other people's eras are, what should we consider a era for FAF?
When there is a major code change?
Every so many rounds?
Every round?
Some other period of time?

I guess eras depend on how fast code is changed.
Monthly rounds would probably stop this entire (insert random clan) owns all forever thing.
Back. I think.

I LOVE that. It's a HUGE reason I play faf.

People, I didn't ask about rounds. I asked about Eras. On other games, I belive it has been that the era is determind by code changes. The question is should we do the same, or have it based on something else?

Essentially, a naming convention. Like Warbands I, Warbands II, FAF I.
Well, code changes is standard for us, and resets for RWL. This is because we update our code often.

So, how often are we going to reset?

I say when it gets boring. When someone has owned the game for a certain length of time, we reset, because no one will dislodge them.

Well, this will be a non-issue when Vera finishes his code. See I had the idea this might be a problem so I proposed a voting section on manage page where you could vote for a reset (default vote: No) and if a certain number of people (say 75% of the active players) decided it would be good, we would reset (that is, the game would let the admin know via email).

So, 1 era = 1 round? And a round is as often as the majority of players think it should be?
