*waves* Welcome to Faf. Hope you have a good time here. *Points to Zeph* He's the guy current'y on top if you couldn't guess. Anyway, don't get too cocky and I'm sure you will do well.

Welcome Scorpion! I'm Kenru known as Kenru if every other forum I'm a member of.

hmm...*sigh* This just reminds that I should make an effort to play FAF.

It didn't take me long to realize that I was pretty much terrible at the game. Unfortunatly, Wolf Bite's training journal's link (on my favorites list from early last year) has been messed up. Grr.

I just re-read WB's Journal. Apart from the fact that a lot of the stuff doesn't apply to FAF (and RWL is crazily set up with Rats being 2/1 -- that's insane) it seems the last entry is flawed. I believe they never would have broken through Ereptor, because WB makes the assumption that Ereptor would lose 3% of his troops whenever anyone attacks him. That may be true for Hawks, but with troops, losses are proportional to what the weaker player had. Thus to break him, they would have had to have /more/ than Ereptor's OP in a troop type distributed in the clan to break him -- which by his own admission they didn't know and didn't muster up.
Although the entry is picturesque, I think it could well be removed without harming the rest of the journal.

A lot of changes have gone on since that journal was written. It is still a very good guide to understanding the depths of the game. The last entry was simply the only “plan I could find still on my computer. Put in to show the work and cooperation needed to take out a large target.

An interesting point is that, dislike Wolf Bite as much as I will, he has done much to herd the unruly bunch at RWL into a more respectable community. Iron fist in a velvet glove you might say.

...Oh...so who is Luke on these forums (or was), I do remember him being on here, but can't remember under which name.

Thanks Rudders.

My memory's failing me. I thought he had used another name. Grr. Blame it on German homework!! Or perhaps Trig, since it is so unfathomably easy.

Edit: Speaking of long lost people, does anybody remember to Dan Wells (Rivers on TSOR)? I should much like to speak with him again.

Oh, I see. Well as an illustration of team playing, it is more than ideal. Rarely can one find such good interaction in a clan. Quite often in clans I've been in, the only reason we couldn't do things like that was that we were all too busy to get on IM at the same time.

No, you can't call people that. Not in that context.
