Okay. Selling at 8 per kills off agrarians on the pvtmarket. Fine. The original goal (and usual stereotype) of an agrarian sells to others. But here's the thing. Usually, they price at 15 per, and hawk people buy because hawk forage equates to buying at 21 per. But we give them a pvtmarket deal of 8 per. The selling price should be bumped up a bit, but that's arguable. Making hawks overly self-sufficient with food buying at eight per is probably not.
Back. I think.

Buy should be greater than 21 by a significant amount if you want to encourage hawkers to buy from agrarians, but you should first convince people to become agrarian. Notice the lack of mole players. Selling should be decent on pvtmarket but low enough that people will actually bother with pubmarket. That is, an agrarian should be selling three food on the pubmarket for every one he sells on pvtmarket. I have no idea how to get that done. At the current price, it is still profitable to hawk loot then pvtmarket buy as opposed to hawk forage. Hawks eat a lot of grain as is, but being increasing it should make mole more popular, and likely their upkeep costs are intended.
Back. I think.

You might want to make it higher. If you put the sell price of food at $16, it would be almost as profitable to sell on the bazzar, and get the cash now, then put it on the public market, and have to wait, or maybe have it not get sold at all...
Edit: I think I misunderstood. So, you are going to leave sell on bazzar at $8? Maybe it should be $10. Make selling food make enough to at least support your troops if you split between foragers and barracks...
