If I may direct everyone's attention to the Duels server, which has been reset and is awaiting players for a new round.

As for ideas for the next round, I'm thinking an FFA, with fast turn rate, low turn storage and attack celing, stocks closed, loans open, but I'm open to suggestions.

I hope you don't mind that I edited your post, but I thought it might reflect poorly on us if we have a News announcement with "Duels" spelled "Duals", as in "more then one." Also, I don't think it reset. The turn rate is stopped, but the old accounts and stuff are still there.

And, assuming that you get everything working properly, and that I don't get yelled at for editing your post...

Whoohoo! Duels! The suggestions for the next round sound good, as well. But what is "FFA"? Pardon my ignorance.

Oh, thanks. We all know that I stink at spelling...

Ok, 30 minuates or so with the DB admin tool, and we are up... For some odd reason or other, the reset function built into the game doesn't work. It just logs me out.


And FFA stands for Free for All... yes, I've been hanging around the gamers too long.

duels should be team based otherwise its just anougher battle for redwall server. but fast turns will be good for some bad for other.. i have a odd idea.
the turns saved is like 500 (make it deal out 2 at a time instead of 1) but max turns is only like 200 or 250. just someting diffrent

Yes... But I haven't decided quite yet.

Ok, perhaps squad-level teams (2-4 players each), no formal alliances, midline turn rate, loans, stockmarket open (with pleanty of manipliation...), lower attack celing, raffle closed.

Low turn storage, if so, then low rate. Once a day logon should not cause any turn overfill (and stored is overfill). Those getting on more often should not get an advantage. Aside from that, *shrug*.

Middle of the road turn rate. High max turns. Low stored. That would make things interesting.

By the way, I too love the idea of 2-4 member squads, where just one squad survives at the end! Very gory!

If we're going in squads, make a kill difficult enough that more than half a squad has to work together to achieve it.

Stored Turns: 350
Turnrate: You get 2 turns every 15 minutes
