What? I don't think you quite understood my idea. What I meant was a peice of plastic, curved in such a way that it overhung the gorrillas' inclosure, thus blocking the gorrillas' shots, however, from the hight of the path overlooking the inclosure, the guests shots still were able to land in the gorrilla's area.

No, it couldn't. This thing would have to reach to a certain point over the enclosure. Either this limit is or isn't the far end from the enclosure. If it is, then nothing can come in, as anything past the enclosure would not fall in. If it isn't, there is some line of sight from the far side of the enclosure to some point above the people, and an item thrown along that line would go over the people. Sure, there'd be ways like having a system that allowed items to only go down, but those require some action of gravity and tend to slow things down. You could use something like they have on most one-way fasteners or the cup dispensers, but those would slow down an item so it would fall, not be thrown.
Back. I think.

Unfortunately, the gerbils with newfound freedom were never sympathetic to humans or primates in general, who by now have little or no role in the fate of the world.
Fortunately, the humans exist.
Unfortunately, that will soon change.
END
Yup, that was fast. Let's make a new line which doesn't die so easily.

Unfortunatley, gerbils dispise the name "bob", so he was miserable...
Well, that wouldn't have died so easily... but then you brought in the advanced technology... It could have gone on for pages if they'd simply escaped and went rampaging around the city with shotguns and dynamite...
