Fixed, by eliminating the need to store map entries in the DB. I did this originally to allow the map to be computed only at certain times (like every 10 minutes) and displaying cached results to the user, but I decided the computing involved is so small to generate it dynamically. This also makes the map more current.
The results are now stored in a simple lookup table; this should also make the map faster -- although imperceptibly so.
