Heroes
Does anyone use Heroes still? I find them quite useful, but I haven't played a full round since January and have never really had the chance to get one since Deep Thought.
I'd have to say I think they would be most useful on COG, since it is a longer-term game than BFR and involves a bit more planning.

If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone
It's a lovely day in the woods today, but safer to stay at home

I had /three/ the first round of BFR. If I recall correctly, Brome, Grumm, and Cregga. The war hero was the defensive one, can't remember if that was Cregga, but I think so. It was quite awesome. And I had a good race too, so it was essentially unbeatable defence, good health, and good cash from Grumm's food.

They're all great, but you should buy them early. That way their powers will help you all set (unless you get killed) and they don't cost as much. I just always forget. XD
Um, I don't understand you guys. They'd help out a lot on Challenge, too. And the only cost 150 turns, unless they cost more on Challenge.
