It's not really the post length (though that does make some difference) it's wether it's on topic or not. If we're discussing troop types, a one line post about mice will be much more appriciated then a one line post about the snowstorm you had yesterday... (Not that you can't mention the snowstorm, just don't do it there... Or stick on the end of a post about mice.)
