code: Select all

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home2/sub007/sc31/www/faf/guide.php on line 111[CODE/]

I get this error on my guide. when I check under military units. I also have this installed on my labtop to change stuff. I get this when I try to create an account:

[CODE]Fatal error: Cannot redeclare replace() in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\xampp\htdocs\faf\funcs.php on line 15[CODE/]

I get the first error on my website and computer though.

[edit] I see the first error on your guide also.

To be honest, midion, we've rather ignored the guide what with all our other work. I'm sorry, but you might try reading through features.php for stuff not covered in the guide.

Out of interest, is your server a Windows box?

My online host is linux. The one on my computer is windows. I'm just using the one on the computer to edit stuff. It's easier than doing it online. I can login as admin on my computers local server. Just can't create accounts. I'll just do it through mysql.

Pardon the double post:

code: Select all

function munits()
{
    global $eradb, $uera, $era, $config, $section, $all_eras, $authstr;
    $myera = $uera;
    // $eras = mysql_query("SELECT id,name FROM $eradb ORDER BY id;");
    // while ($eera = mysql_fetch_array($eras))
    foreach($all_eras as $eera) {
Is the bit in question.

The problem is, of course, that $all_eras does not exist!

I'm too busy to think up a fix, but that should give you the reason why you get that error.

Ah, but of course. That should be $config['er']... or along those lines.

[edit] "er" stands for era and race matrix.

That's exactly what i'm looking at. I'll see if I can figure it out.

[edit] I didn't see your post before mine beetles.

I tried $config['eradb'] = 'eras' ;

when looking at some prom4.3 code but realised it wasn't in the database the same way.

Do look at the loadEra function in funcs.php; it does what you need.

Ok so far I have just gotten it to say my era over and over and over in my guide. That's about it so it. Still working on it couldn't work on it much last night.

I have another question though. What exactly do I transfer from the shadow.css to change my menu to the shadows one? I like the original background and everything like the text colors. The shadow.css menu matches my website exactly.

You need the .menu TD and .menu TH portions of the CSS file; and the appropriate images of course.
On that note, I the latest zip file, apart from bugfixes, has CSS split into two parts: one for layout (layout.css) and one only for colors (grey.css, shadows.css, whatever). I wouldn't recommend you to use those CSS files, since you would like Shadows (done by Devari). And shadows is still in the old format, although we are working on it.

I hope You don't mind me re-using the same thread over and over. I have another question. Will this be disables if I change.
$config['nolimit_mode'] = 1 to 0

After spending your initial turns completely, you will be saved to the Hall Of Fame and locked out of your account.You may only sign up for a new account when your current one has died.

What is this for? My beta testers are getting locked out of their accounts.

1: server is a nolimits server, turns given at signup, accounts using all turns will be placed into hall of fame and left for future players to use as land farms
0: standard server
Back. I think.
