Two days to go unbroken? I'd believe breaking him in two days, but going unbroken by him, with random other people hitting you as well, seems a little far fetched.

I'll take you up on that, Beatles. Unbreakable in 2 days? Oh yea, I don't use markets either. By all means, I am certainly not unbreakable, in fact it matters not if i am broken. All I care about is that I have at least 8k land. I'm pretty sure anyone playing right now could break me.

Do it! I'll have a story for my FAF News, finally. Japan, are you a food masser, or a hawk masser?

No huts, no barracks, no markets. But it's alot more. We'll see how it turns out in the end and then i'll see if I want to share.

You've made me curious. However, could you apply the same thing on another game besides FAF, say where food is very low. Tried RWL, for example?

I have tried RWL, but it's not so good. As if food being very low wasn't bad enough, most are hawk massers. Also, there is no access to a treasury to store resources. The bank's capacity is never high enough, and you have to wait hours if you try storing food on the market. If you get past those obstacles, you take a bunch of land, the next day you've been hawk battled so you have very low land and have to start all over. I have tried tweaking with markets and it worked out somewhat well. The only way I see getting past all of this is getting a enormous amount of land, then add like 50% huts. If you accomplish all that, you still have Peace Alliance and other very skilled players to keep from taking your land.

That's why you either go mostly hawk, or mostly barrack. If you go barrack, just make sure you have enough loyalty to keep your defenses raised. Mass rats or stoats. Then you even if you get hit to low land, you can always gain a lot back quickly. For dealing with Peace, I'd advise staying out of a clan, so he can't hit you so hard, and just sack him heavilly, as well as hitting for any he took. He'll hit back, but murders will be inefective because of hawks sheilds, and if you don't try to store up resorces, but rely on selling your troops at the start of a run, and then sacking during the run, all he can hit for is food. You most likely won't go unbreakable, but you don't need to, as long as you can break others...

Note. I do not play RWL, and have never fought against Peace, except in this round of duels. This advice is comes from my own experience here at FAF, as well as what I've gleaned from the RWL forums.

Mostly barracks at RWL is not advisable. There is no prod, and the market is loath to accept much. After that, you'll be forced to drop troops by losing battles with the top guy, which conserves resources, but really gets him mad at times.
Back. I think.

Well, if you get in that situation, set troop production to zero, and send aid to a bunch of people who are being nice to you. If they can't use it, they can pass it around... Though, I don't know the way things work on RWL as well as you do, Zeph. So this may not work. It's what I'd in those conditions...

There's a difference between 'works' and 'gains you net'.

Good point. So, build some markets/foragers. Try Juska's Rat massing strat, he has it laid out in their strategy section.

That's what I did until I started having insanely large excesses of rats.
Back. I think.
