Yeah, it would be nice if people did that. It gets anoying having all these "Dead, Uninformed" accounts running around on the User Admin section... Plus if we set up an auto disable, or some other automated system, your new account will get disabled, even if your old one is dead.
Edit: Yep, it looks like you did that right, windy.

...
one sec
well, I checked and I didnt see anything else that could have trigged the multi
that was a problem @ RWL as well, I think promi in general, that you have to tell it to 'delete account' before it allows you to make another
given I dont understand the majority of what the code does (what does disabled! == 2 mean? could be true, false, or somthin else)
not sure

Hobbs FTW!
42: $multi = sqleval("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM $playerdb WHERE email='$signup_email' OR IP='$REMOTE_ADDR' AND land>0 AND disabled!=2;");
so heres how it works:
count(*) makes it return a count of how many matches it finds
it checks for duplicate email and IP (so if it matches either email OR IP)
and that the land is greater than 0
and it is not already disabled
could somebody check if it does not "work as advertised" ®
perhaps the sql statement is erroneous

ah
thanks Sh0e
you're right
I just double checked, and Sergeant Funk (22) has the same IP and user has the same last name as japan, so that would appear to be correct
somone validated it before now, given 22 and 56 cooexisted,
its just become an issue again because japan died...
so yeah
I 'spose we should decide whether or not to allow this
