what other programs do you have?
if Word is your default text editor it would open in it.. but thats not exactly recommended.. atleast, I wouldnt recommend it.. ms office tends to add stuff to code..
metapad is spiffy... http://www.liquidninja.com/metapad/download.html
or you could use notepad...
(or... Gedit/Nedit/your fav. linux editor.. I like Gedit myself..)
