Exceptions: you already made a valid post towards the rest of the forum and are just adding a short "by the way" to it; you are posting an "open letter" kind of thing; you are trying to say something that is also intended for others; or you want to ensure for some reason that others can see that you contacted the other person.
The staffers may feel free to repeal the rule. Only please, make a topic in Lounge about it. Until then, consider it in effect.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.
