Okay, people, enough is enough. I understand that mod powers are cool and even perhaps 1337, but enough. I understand the power is fun... but appropriate? I've noticed things happening to my posts. One was split even though it was perfectly on-topic, almost as if that person either wanted to be the only one to give instructon in said thread or that my viewpoint was not important. Then, I had someone edit my post. It was minor, mind you, but still unnecessary. I was not off topic, I did not spam, and I posted information that was accurate and not derogatoey in any way. Don't put words into my mouth, people. You only mod posts that are spam or inappropriate. Everything else is to be resolved via the PM system. I do not appreciate having what I write being considered inferior to the opinions of others. I, too, deserve a voice. Thank you.
Back. I think.

Mods are usually to posh for anyone else, and form cliques. Its annoying! The only one I ever knew who didn't was IFman, and maybe Devari.

"Two" said Gimli, patting his axe. He had returned to his place on the wall. "Two?" said Legolas. "I have done better, though now I must Grope for lost arrows; all mine are gone. Yet I make my tale twenty at the least. But that is only a few leaves in a forest."
"Twenty-one!" said Gimli. "Good!" said Legolas. " But my count is now two dozen. It has been knife work up here."
"Forty-two, master Legolas!" he cried. "Alas! My axe is notched; the forty-second had an Iron collar on his neck. How is it with you?" "You have passed my score by one," answered Legolas. "But I do not grudge you the game, so glad am I to see you on your legs!"

And shining spears were laid in hoard.

Ditto... anyways we wanted Zephyrus as a staff member, but he said he was too busy. At any rate, whenever you free up, please do apply.
And yeah, I agree. Don't overmod. Swearing, bad grammar/punctuation, flaming, inappropriate content, etc. are the only moddable offenses. If you don't agree with what someone says or how they say it, or you think they are wrong, NO MATTER. Don't mod. They might be right, but even if they are totally wrong, that is THEIR business. PM them.
I'll pin this topic for a week.

The only things I have done are: edit some grammatical errors, give Devari his new and cool title, and add a word in the filter...not much I'd imagine.
I form "cliques" with no one. Sure, you hang out with your friends that you've known for a long time, and that's what I do with Devari, Beatles, Alcaline, Holby (when he comes here), and fenix (maybe not anymore since he hasn't been here).Mods are usually to posh for anyone else, and form cliques
The only thing I will change with my Admin/Mod powers are small editing of punctual and grammatical errors. They might be right, but even if they are totally wrong, that is THEIR business. PM them.

I split your topic because the topic was about Diplomacy. You said, "Alright, the flipside of diplomacy: war." That was an abrupt topic change, so I moved it.

Just clarifying that with Zephyrus (so he doesn't think I've been messing with topics and such)I know, there are no problems with you, Urran.
True, but you said "the Mods form...". Thus you were referring to the Mods as a whole, not just a few of them.Notice that I didn't say names.

Pfft, I edited topic titles for the Academy forum (and that was only the whole topics I moved there).
Also, do we have to correct grammatical errors? Just give them a break unless it's like "oic liek do yaz havta del ur 1st accn b4 u cn mak a new 1?'

I'd like to point out that the only modding I think I've ever done was grammatical in nature. Pretty sure on that one.
Also, I don't think I'm cliquish. On some of the other forums in the ROC, yes, but not on here, which is the only place I'm a mod. And I'm only cliquish about my boyfriend, which I don't think counts. ^^
