I even used my forum name and everything. *knock on wood.* Alas It was a poor round though. Silly mice eat all my food. First time going without dieing if I can make it till the 1st.

Hey, Congrats!

What strategy are you running that causes food problems? Mice aren't always the best troop to use - they eat too much and die too fast.

Thanks! Heh, I'll say. Dieing by the millions per attack. I was trying to forage with 40k foragers and 10k barracks all mice. Learned my lesson there still made about 15 bil though. I guess once a skiff masser, always a skiff masser.

For attacking troop, Otters and Hares tend to be the way to go, especially for a long-term strategy. For my strategy, I find Hares work best - cheaper than Otters yet almost as good.

Hares are nice. With 40k or so barracks, I can generate over a mil every 50 turns training...

Hmm do you have extra to spend or do you go all barracks? I can usually get 3.5 mil otters, 4-5 mil hares, 4 mil squirrels and about 7 mil mice with full turns. Although once in a while I have to use my turns training mice, which can be a hassle. I have to sell on the puublic market alot during the run so I don't lose all my food. Alot of people mass hares. They usually don't have too many otters and are easy to break.
