Getting taken down to 1 land isn't _that_ bad... You can recover.

But, perhaps a Peaceful player could not attack and instead get double scouting yield and 25% more food/cash yield?

But the point is not to make a peacefull player, per say, it is to make a non-killing, non-killable player for those who just don't like kills.

We could just make there be penalties for killing, like the resources of the warband you killed are subtracted from your warband.

Hmm. Might work, except it wouldn't really stop those who think there is no way to handle a good opponent except by killing them, they'ed think it's better to take the loss then to let the opponent stick around.

What about a troop limit, but double scout?

Say,

5,000,000 Mice
3,000,000 Squirrels
2,000,000 Hares
1,500,000 Otters

?

Otherwise, I see this being abused. For example, my strategy never calls for kills. The limits being what they are, I'd just sign up as HPR. That way I'm invincible...

You are? I don't think so. Just let me swich over to pure hawk, get brome, murder you 150 times a day and pay someone to smash you, or do it myself. You'd have a few problems from that, I'd imagine. That's the whole problem, people think the only way to bring people down is to kill.

Hmm, idea. Hawk shield is not as effective. Or, a major penalty to runes and ratio. That way, anybody with decent hawk power could wreck havoc on them. Combine that, with, say, more strict limits on the amount of troops marketable (half of what normal people can do) and they'd be far from invinceable, simply unkillable.

But, remember, I have 20 million of each troop on the market. ;)

That's why the strict market limits. With a 50 mil net, you'd be able to get 10 mil on the market.

EDIT: Or is that about what the market is set on already? Anyway, it'd be half of normal, if even that.

it's not set on that, I had 20 mil net and stored 200 million net on the market, I'm not sure there is a limit

Yes there is. Maybe it's a certain percentage, but on CoG I've reached a point where I can't put more then a few more troops on the market. I've had times where I could not store more without gaining more troops and a higher net.

Oh! You mean the limit based on how many TROOPS you have, not your networth. :D

You can sell 90% of each troop.

Drop it to 45%. Give em a starting commision of 20%, increasing to 30% more quickly then a normal account. That'll take care of their market storing posibilities...

Here's another thing. Scouting is 10 - 20% less powerful, so it's a bit harder for them to recover after getting whacked to 1 acre.

But... But...

They're HPRs! Scouting should be better, not worse! :D

[edit] Oh, and the market thing sounds good.

Well, I never really thought HPR was a good name for these accounts anyway.
