Hawk Abilties

So what is Seppuku, recall hawks, and prepare hawks?
what does moving north or south do?
i guessed its a change in the time (past future, present) but which is which??

Seppuku kills your whole army, some workers, and I believe some hawks as well. Moving north or south is the same thing as changing eras. I haven't used recall hawks yet, so I don't know what it does. It should also say in the game guide at the top of the screen.

also, wat r the requirements for gettin heros? it thought it was just 1000 turns but its not lettin me

You have to have a certain # of each troop, hawks, land and turns. It should say at the bottom of the heroes page though. Also before you do sepuku, it gives you as pop-up window that asks you if you're sure you want to do it.

and since i don't want to make a new topic for my question about heros ill throw it here.
so if i understand right..when i get a hero ill lose 40-50% of my land or is it buildings? and why this enormous penalty?

Because Heros can help make you enourmously(sp?) powerful.

I dont think you lose land and buildings... Somone please correct me If I'm wrong...

You don't lose land, but you do lose a lot of buildings.

However, buildings aren't that bad of a loss. 50 turns rebuilding or less, normally. And that gets your health back up. Like FWF said, they can make you much more powerful, so they have a big cost. Really though, the cost isn't much. One run is about all you need, depending on your strat.
