10 acres a scout...

5000 acres for 500 turns scouting. And, likely, it will be even less than that. Scouting comparatively sucks to attacking.

So you'd gain half your land back. Maybe. Only to have it sit empty, and then get taken the next day. I thinketh not, FWF. You can, if you want. We'll be happy to take all that land you waste your turns scouting. ;)

The way new land comes into the game is by new signups scouting out of protection. Each signup is about 8-10k new land. If we really want lots of land, we need lots of players. ;)

Hey, what's up with BAC killing Six Stars? I don't even think Six Stars was at war with them, let alone trying to kill them...

I'm not objecting to war. It's the killing I'm objecting too.

the killing livens it up more
if you kill someone, they come back with more of a fighting spirit
admittadly, you make many enemies, and people will try and will kill you
but it just livens it up more

Maybe. But if you just haul off and declare war on someone, that livens it up pretty well, too. I only canceled the Six Stars war because FWF hadn't meant to declare war at all. If he had, we'd still be fighting...

Here I thought the war was over because Six Stars was beaten into a bloody pulp by BAC. :P

I actually have to agree with Darklands on one point - killing certainly does bring up a fighting spirit. It always makes me want to wreck havoc when I'm killed.

Blue Dragon was passive.. then he was smushed, then killed for retal
Blue Dragon 1.2 is not passive, and will most likely be killed for retal
Blue Dragon 1.4 (yes, moving in even version numbers) will putt around in the lower ranks for the hell of it
Blue Dragon 1.6 will not appear, for I shall have become bord with making new accounts

I dont like killings
they do not make the game more fun
a forced reset of one's horde is not fun

Heh, I didn't say they make the game more fun. For most, they don't. But I was agreeing that they tend to raise a fighting spirit... to a point.

Well, if the game is full of HPR's who won't even attack another person more then five times, and avoid the war setting like it's the plague, then I can understand killing to bring out thier fighting spirit. But there was already a war going on. Darklands, if you wanted war, all you had to do was dump all your allies and start over-attacking people. If you over him my clan, after dumping us from ally, I'd have been glad to declare war on you. You're hogging all the land, anyway. :P

So...is there still a war going on? It sounded like WWIII there for a second.
