Well, online attacks can really screw up a warband. For example, if I'm depending on markets to keep me from running out of cash while I'm building, and you attack me online without me knowing it, destroying most of those markets, I could run out of cash, and lose a large amount of troops due to the 3% rule. Also, if I just spent 200 turns gaining land, and you take most of that before I get a chance to build on that land, and use turns while I have it, those 200 turns were just wasted.elvis wrote: *sorry for posting to much*

Well of course we were, what did they expect? The GA? Hehe just kidding. I'm cool with it. So what are the conditions for the land grabs? How much can we take each other down to? Was some good fun though, even it was so short.
It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

Heh, maybe they did. I was pretty low. I had just gotten a hero, and hadn't been able to get much land recently, none of us had, so we probably looked weak, even though all we needed was avalible land. I agree, it was fun. I got to make about 2 runs.Well of course we were, what did they expect? The GA?
As far as land grabs, I think normally land grab rules. No personal war, as many attacks as you can fit in without it, no killing/helping with kills.

I really should start to consider getting heroes. I had Grumm once and it was splendid. I always wait too long into the game. Meh, I can do pretty good without them but next round I know what to shoot for.

Certainly something you want to do next round! I only got Grumm this round, and late too. I miss Brome and Cregga.
Grumm is great for an agrarian, though. 1.5x the cash!

Grumm is really nice, I had put off getting him this round, hoping I could dominate right from the start. I guess the feild was a little too good for that. I always get Brome first, he's the most valuble, I think. With the added healing, I can make much more profitable attack runs.

With Grumm, you get more profit and you dont have waste so much time attacking unless your in a war, then Brome would be more useful.
