It has been done at a few other universities. I wouldn't use such a service for my main music collection, just to listen to new* artists I am interested in. All my music conforms to the UberStandard (see the UberGuide for more practical, albeit Windows-centric, instructions).

At Walmart.com you can download songs for only 89 cents a song! Still free downloads would be cool... Too bad it's illegal.

Hehehe No comment on The Otter Horde's post. Its a shame the old Napster went down just before I got into downloading stuff. When it came back up again I got bored and stopped downloading. Now I only tend to download really old stuff that I can't buy anymore since I can afford to buy stuff now I have a job.
