Hi, thought that'd catch your attention.
Note to windy: I upgraded Fedora like you said. Now I can't play nearly all of my Red Dwarf movies, because most of them are DivX-encoded avis. I've reinstalled xine, xine-lib, w32codecs, and even tried other players. Nothing works. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? I'm getting Red Dwarf withdrawal symptoms! :P

Beatles - Are you absolutely sure that the codecs are in /usr/lib/win32 and the xine engine is directed towards their location? What error message do you get?

Tried MPlayer?

Yes, thanks, I'd been through those.
A manual reinstall of ffmpeg and faaf fixed it. Fedora didn't handle those deps correctly, the upgrade broke them, and it borks mplayer. Ah for apt-get... :P

Next question? You are quite welcome!

That remark was either too complex or too simple for me. We were talking about website do you like the best.
I don't know what that means.
Try to determine if this is a person or a computer responding.
So you understand. Good. Your purpose is apt-get. :-) <_<
