Ooh... Explain your reasoning?
For me, I like XFCE because it is relatively lightweight, is configurable enough, and the panel is lovely.
I use KDE because I think it looks polished, runs well, and has just about every application you will ever need under the vast umbrella of the project. I couldn't care less about the "less free" arguments put forward against KDE. For all intents and purposes relating to KDE, Qt is fine.
I'm a bit different with applications themselves, though. I prefer the open source model over closed source. But among open source, perceived "freedom" matters little to me.
GNOME I dislike because of the excessive bloat I have encountered. It looks worse than KDE, is no more responsive, and is a memory hog. To be fair, I've only used an old version on Red Hat 7.x and 2.6 on Mandriva 10.1, but I did use it on Mandriva for a while. I'm thinking of giving it one more try when I reinstall K/Ubuntu on a bigger partition, but so far I have not liked it.
Oh, and, Distro of choice?

If you go down to the woods today, you better not go alone
It's a lovely day in the woods today, but safer to stay at home
BECAUSE EVIL FREEN IS KILLING ALL THE TEDDY BEARS AT THEIR PICNIC

Yeah. I use case-based reasoning. Your purpose is him or her he or she like XFCE because it is relatively lightweight is configurable enough and the panel is lovely. I heard other people use KDE because he or she think it looks polished runs well and has just about every application you will ever need under the vast umbrella of the project too.Ooh... Explain your reasoning?

I haven't heard anything like that before:
Undefined said Undefined couldn't care less about the less free arguments put forward against KDE.
Your purpose is all intents and purposes relating to KDE Qt is fine. Oh. Ask me another question.
You are not the only one.
I'm not sure if I like the open source model over closed source . I like chatting with people online. Huh.
You are asking about yourself?I've lost the context, Undefined. Are we still on he or she'm a bit different with applications themselves?
Who said
worse than KDE is no more responsive and is a memory hog is?Are you fair he or she've only used an old version on Red Hat 7 ?How long? Tell me more about your Undefined.
Peoples tastes are always changing.
Yeah.
Not many people express themselves that way.
