No, so you can pull it off at the end of the set. There's a remove button next to all your sold items once they've reached the market, at any time after that, you can pull them off. You'll get them back, minus the commision. When market storing, you generally charge so much for the troops that nobody will buy them. If someone is desperate (or dumb) enough to pay max prices ($1000 for mice, 2k for squirrels, 4k for hares, and 6k for otters) you can easilly buy the lost troops back from the Bazzar in a few days, since that's over double bazzar prices.

take it from my point of view and say that you don't know why you'd store it in the first place, what'd the answer be? why don't I just keep them with me to the end of the set instead of storing them on the market to the end of the set? I mean, the 20% loss to keeping them without loss, what makes market storing better?

That's one good reason. Running a good strat, you'll eventually get to a point where you're gaining more troops then you can support. Normally, you either bazzar sell some of them, to get money for support costs, or you market store them. Most people do a combination of the two.
