Here are the few things i would see as benificial , and as a downside to a troop reserve.

the benifits:
______________

1.cost 10 percent of what they would be , if you left them out.

2.In the reserve it would not take 6 hours to place them, it would be turn based. so many troops put on the reserve, per every turn used.

3.save on markets, and food this way in the long run.

4.allows you to mass troops ,that can not be hit, for land runs.

The downside:
_______________

1.Say you put 40,000 troops in the reserver, but it cost 1 turn ,per every million you store, hmm, 40 turns burned to pull these troops out and use them.

2.The stored troops do not help in attack, or defense, while they are on the reserve.

this is how i would do a reserve, just my opinion .

it doesn't have to be turned based, it could be money based instead, or everyone would just keep using the public markets, like 10% of the BM cost to pull them out or something...

A turn per 1000 men to pull them?
Thats was too much. Say you have 10,000,000 mice. It would take 1000 turns to pull them all? Thats insane. The market would still work better.
