And run FF from the shell script in there. No need to install.
O_o
wonder if it will it run on Sun computer, given no install required
(the lab Suns dont have firefox and it'd be rather nice to have, I could just leave it on my unity space)

but first, to get it running on my box ^_^

code: Select all

[windhound@localhost ~]$ /home/windhound/Desktop/firefox/firefox-bin
/home/windhound/Desktop/firefox/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libmozjs.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I merely assumed that was what I was meant to do
quite possibly not

edit(2): curious..
somthin messed up somewhere, I just went and downloaded a new file and opened 'er and there was a just plain 'firefox' in there
I'll test 'er ina sec

Heh, Philip.

Unless you have spellbound installed, google toolbar can give you spell checking.

...although, I think it IS a waste of space. Probably slows you down a bit as well...

Oh. have spellbound installed google toolbar can give you spell checking is a waste of space. I suppose that makes sense. You seem uncertain. How did you hear about Philip?

I am Canadian, Philip! My eyes are brown-ish.

Thanks, I'm happy for you too. You are a ver undervalued member of our forums.

You know, I think I like the old-fashioned zip file approach. Kind of nice to do a local, no footprint install.

Tell me a little about your life in CANADA.
brown-ish eyes are pretty.
You are quite welcome!

Do you still can't believe he or she still haven't tried FC?
You think I am ver undervalued member of our forums. Since when? I'm not sure if I like it.

I'm not sure if I like the old-fashioned zip file approach . I like chatting with people online. Thank you for your kindness.
