I was easily crackable, by pretty much everything except what people tried. The only thing I could resist well was people that didn't mass, and people that massed hares.

Yea, no one tried hawks at all, which I think you only had around 1 mil for a while there, am I correct?
It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

But troops alone cannot resist as well as guards and troops. And alos, troops eat up cash and food, the way I run, that=bad.

On the other hand, you need a lot of guards to stop reasonable amounts of troops. And guards take away land that you could use to build buildings that will feed and pay those troops.

Yeah, I had around a mil or so Hawks. I could have also been cracked with anyone massing Mice, Squirrels, and especially Otters. In fact my weakest troop was Otters because I figured everyone would assume that was my strongest point.

My plan was to make you guys have to burn up a lot of troops and resources cracking me, I didn't fully expect to be unbroken for the majority of the set. I'm not complaining though ;)

In my case the GT did help, the only time I was ever cracked was the one run I did not put up GT after I was done. That's the first time I've used them in a long time.

Hehe. I'm sure you all have your own ways of getting around the land problem, but myself, I knock em down at the start of a run, pump em into something useful, then run turns, get land etc. When done I build em again out of Huts(Or whatever the hawk buildings are) to get my ratio up. It works good. Then I get to make all kinds of money and food. A mil or so? Jese. I would have mudered the bejesus out of you, then attacked, since troop battles is always than hawk battles. Or even just found out your weakness and attacked that. When I fail an attack I tend to espy.
