Image

windows skin type thing
actually, the installer is more of an automated helper than anything else, and its all undoable
neat stuff
doesnt slow down windows at all
infact, mine seems to have sped up O_o
little launcher down at the bottom works as it should, and smoothly at that..

Nice looking. KDE with Baghira, transparency, and kxdocker isn't quite up to that level yet.

Did you stop using FC4, windy?

naw
I'm still dual booting, remebered that site from a while back and decided to try it
using windoze right now to play a game against my roommate.. metal knights or some such.. wine wont run it right, so yeah..

use FC4 98.7% of the time, use windows for stuff that cxoffice hasnt prefected yet.. which is the vast majority of software ^_^
photoshop, dreamweaver, and misc. games..
though, wesnoth has my attention right now..

Fedora is trying to screw up on me again.. I hope its just a small thing that will go away, but its spitting out some rather nasty extra stuff near the end when I shutdown.. if its not broke dont fix it, but still..

I wish there was daemontools for Linux. cdemu doesn't even do what I want it to do.

I didn't parse that in two ways:
1. daemontools is a UNIX app
2. cdemu doesn't seem to be related to daemontools?

Copy protection emulator.

I donno wot it says.. quite a bit of stuff that goes by rather quickly,
I'll glance at it again next time I shut down
but it doesnt seem to be effecting anything, so meh. I'll just go make a backup of anything thats important incase it decides to tank..

Daemon tools is quite useful, bascially it allows you to mount as many iso (etc) cd images as you want, even if they are of protected disks.. like, say, halo..
-and windoze views them as regular cd-rom drives
