14 chars here - 40 must be insane.
I mean, do you seriously want to write a novel's worth of material every time you want to log in somewhere? And you know, if you store it in an encrypted file on your hard drive, then you gotta get more disk space...
Heh, my 40 character one is if I really feel I need some security. I don't actually use it on any site right now.
My normal secure password is 15 chars. Although I could probably do my 29 character password fairly fast.

Heh. Don't feel bad. If I need a quick password, I use only 6 characters and I can even dictionary crack it. Just a word.
