Hey, welcome to FAF. The reason everyone's net is so high is that it's nearly the end of the set, so most of us have been playing for a month or more.

If you're just learning the whole promisance game style, I'd recommend starting out on WOA. It's a slower paced, friendly game.

If you just want general advice, I'd suggest looking in our game guide, and in the Help Forum. If you have specific questions about what buildings to build, how to mass troops, strategies, etc. you can PM me, in-game message me, or catch me on AIM (ruddertail). I'll be more then happy to help you.
